Account Manager / Healthcare
Creative MediaWorks produces dynamic, memorable and effective health care communications media for medical education, marketing, scientific communication and meetings. Working with Medical Communication, Pharmaceutical/Device companies, CMW produces the multimedia and graphic tools they need to conduct business at all levels. We have an outstanding opportunity for an experienced account management professional with excellent communication skills, superior organizational skills and a team player attitude. This individual will work with our existing client base to increase sales for our firm. This is a great opportunity to work with a multimedia leader with excellent upside financial potential.
Responsibilities:
- Grow revenue in top 50 strategic accounts base by 20% YOY
- Establish a relationship with current client base while maintain existing sales
- Increase sales through internal referrals
- Understand our client's business environment and objectives
- Respond to website and telephone inquiries, drive the sales process
- Use existing sales collateral effectively, as well as present to prospective clients
- Work with production team personnel in order to ensure that client's expectations are met
- Provide market/customer feedback to assist the department managers in identifying new service opportunities, market opportunity, requirements and pricing
- Represent the company at trade association meetings and networking events to promote products and services
- Develop work proposals and estimates
- Conduct regular client and internal team meetings
- Contribute to strategic marketing discussions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years in strategic account management
- Proven ability to obtain referrals
- Understand the client environment, objectives and terminology
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical scientific, education, marketing and offsite meeting needs
- Knowledge of Graphics and Multimedia in relationship to healthcare communication needs
- Background as an Account Manager in the healthcare industry with proven track record working within pharmaceutical,
medical communication and medical education and scientific environments
- Strong relationship building, interpersonal and persuasive skills
- Excellent communication skills, including presentation skills for effective communication to clients, management and project team members
- Ability to use and take advantage of CRM systems
- Working knowledge of MS Office
- Organized, energetic, personable, neat clean appearance
- Occasional overnight travel to meet with clients out of region
- Experience working in an entrepreneurial or small company setting
- Ability to work collaboratively with others
